Shawn grew up in a small rural community outside of Danville, Virginia but also spent much of his time on Buggs Island Lake. Which is why he is so happy to be living 25 minutes from it now with his wife, Crystal and their 5 children. 

Shawn lives and breathes the outdoor lifestyle.  His passion for land management and hunting began at a young age, learning what it takes to harvest deer and how to preserve the land they live on. Shawn started Dixie Outdoors Archery in 2009 which linked him to hundreds of hunters and landowners with the same passion. 

Shawn has not only had the privilege of hunting on some of the top farms in southside Virginia, but has also been involved in scoping out and finding others prime hunting leases. Shawn has the knowledge to see the potential in a property and the skills to bring that vision to life. He definitely enjoys the land management aspect as much as he enjoys hunting.

As the top producer at Virginia Realty in 2023 and ranked 57th nationally in sales volume, Shawn is a real estate expert with a deep passion for land and property. He is also a Certified Deer Steward by the National Deer Association (NDA), combing his expertise in real estate with a commitment to land stewardship and wildlife management.

For more than twenty years, Mike has been a leader in the manufactured and modular housing industry in central and Southern Virginia. Whether it was finding the right land, finding the right home, or both, he has always enjoyed helping people achieve their dreams.

As a native Virginian, Mike loves all things outdoors. You are just as likely to see him hiking to a waterfall in the Blue Ridge Mountains as you are to see him fishing a farm pond in the spring or bow hunting big game in the fall. In 2013, Mike, his wife Erin, and their two children moved back to Erin’s family farm. Since then, Erin has taught in Mecklenburg and Charlotte County schools and is now the principal at Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte County. Their son Casey spends his spare time working on a pit crew at the local racetrack and serves in the National Guard. Their daughter Mackenzie loves to sing and has dreams of making the volleyball team next year! As a family, they are equally comfortable spending time together at the farm or traveling the country on their next adventure. Mike would love to help you on your next adventure.
