Shawn grew up in a small rural community outside of Danville, Virginia but also spent much of his time on Buggs Island Lake. Which is why he is so happy to be living 25 minutes from it now with his wife, Crystal and their 5 children.

Shawn started Dixie Outdoors Archery in 2009 which linked him to hundreds of hunters and landowners with the same passion.

Shawn has the knowledge to see the potential in a property and the skills to bring that vision to life. He definitely enjoys the land management aspect as much as he enjoys hunting.
